After visiting the Camargue region in southern France earlier this year, I found myself feeling reflective and grateful. That day I rode a white horse through the wild marshlands to the beach, bathed in Provence's perfect gold light. This peaceful yet stirring environment brought about nostalgia for my late partner. The day spent riding those horses was thrilling yet bittersweet as it was an experience soley felt, rather than shared with the person I miss the most. I envisioned seeing him one day and telling him everything I experienced with him in my heart.
